The Hancocks Journal: June

The Hancocks Journal: June

Hello June! Although it is not very sunny here in London we do welcome these brighter and bustling days of summer. We’re still basking in the afterglow of last month’s “Hancocks in Bloom” display, our floral tribute to the Chelsea Flower Show. It was a blooming success, enhancing our recent move to our sparkling new location on St. James’s Street.

We hope you enjoy this month’s offerings, dive into our ‘New Arrivals’ to discover our latest treasures, and don’t miss this month’s ‘Jewel of the Month’— a jewel for every Art Deco aficionado! Our ‘Inside Hancocks’ feature will keep you connected to all that’s new and noteworthy.

We’re always here to help with your jewellery inquiries, so reach out anytime using the contact information at the end of this newsletter. Here’s to a joyful June filled with long days, warmer evenings, and unforgettable jewels. We hope to see you soon!

Jewel of the Month

This month we chose these lovely earrings by Marzo, which capture the quintessential Art Deco aesthetic with their vibrant colours and geometric shapes.

It was during the Art Deco period that Marzo truly solidified his legacy with innovative designs recognized at the 1925 L’Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes in Paris, where he was awarded the Grand Prix. These earrings, created during this iconic era and a testimony to the design still, almost a century later remain chic and wearable

Inside Hancocks

Since our previous newsletter was sent out we were delighted that a wonderful article about our move to St. James’s Street was printed in The New York Times. The article will give you a wonderful glimpse into this new chapter of our history and hopefully inspire you to come and visit us if you have not yet!

We also very much enjoyed joining in with the floral frenzy that the Chelsea Flower Show brings to London every year, we loved our very own ‘Hancocks in Bloom’ country garden, the first of many to come!
