GRIMA for Hancocks
GRIMA for Hancocks brings together two of Britain’s most distinguished jewellery houses in a series of five unique jewels. Three years in the making, the series began with the long-standing friendship between Amy Burton-Totton, Creative Director of Hancocks London, and Francesca Grima, Creative Director of GRIMA and evolved through the values they share: original design, outstanding gemstones and an uncompromising approach to craftsmanship.
Each jewel was designed by Francesca around Hancocks’ curation of old cut diamonds and gemstones. The series represents a meeting of two different but complementary worlds: GRIMA’s bold, architectural approach to design, and Hancocks’ renowned expertise in exceptional stones. Each was handmade in London by a single master goldsmith and bears the makers’ marks of both houses, side by side.
Rooted in a relationship between the Grima and Burton families that spans generations, the series is a celebration of friendship, shared history, and contemporary British fine jewellery.
The GRIMA for Hancocks series is available from 21 September.

Vintage Asscher cut diamond and Colombian emerald earrings
A 3.70ct F SI1 vintage Asscher cut diamond and a 4.08ct Colombian emerald, set with baguette cut, carré cut and bullet cut diamonds in 18ct yellow gold and platinum with brushed satin finish.
Traditionally used as supporting stones, bullet cut diamonds are reimagined as striking finials to elongated batons, creating a bold and architectural silhouette.

Antique pear shape diamond ring
A 5.07ct I VS2 antique pear brilliant cut diamond set with 2.14ct of bespoke French cut diamonds in 18ct yellow gold with brushed satin finish.
Inspired by the Trellick Tower at night, the dimensional, castellated setting is punctuated by French cut diamonds that evoke illuminated ‘windows’ scattered across its façade.

Convertible French cut diamond earrings
French cut diamonds weighing 8.19cts, set in platinum.
Inspired by an Oscar Niemeyer auditorium ceiling in Paris, these convertible earrings explore depth, reflection and geometric repetition. Designed to be worn with or without their detachable drops, they move effortlessly between understated elegance and dramatic impact.

The Dress Set
French cut diamonds weighing 3.25cts, set in 18ct yellow gold with brushed satin finish.
Beginning with the unexpected reference of cowboy collar tips, Francesca reimagined the traditional dress set as a collection of adaptable jewels. It comprises two clips – which combine to form a single brooch – a pair of cufflinks and three dress buttons. Each element may be worn independently, together, or even shared between two people.

Cognac old cut oval diamond ring
An 11.15ct Fancy Deep Brownish Yellow VVS2 old cut oval diamond with 2.24ct of French cut diamonds, set in 18ct yellow gold and platinum with brushed satin finish.
The diamond’s interplay of golden and brown tones gives it its rich cognac character. With no visible claws, the central stone appears suspended amid an asymmetric arrangement of French cut diamonds, creating a ring of striking scale and sculptural elegance.
