House of Hancocks
The original home of Hancocks in 1849 was a building on the corner of Bond Street and Bruton Street, we were known as House of Hancocks. 175 years later we are lucky to have one of the most beautiful Georgian townhouses in London to call home.
We have designed the layout to include three very distinct Gallery spaces to display our jewellery curation. The Gallery floors are named after one of our previous homes and each is very unique in character but also with a common essence of our heritage in mind. The space invites you to come explore, learn, try on and maybe even take home some of our collection in a welcoming and relaxed environment.
Sackville Gallery
As you arrive at Hancocks you will enter the Sackville Gallery on the ground floor, which has been designed to showcase the variety of jewellery Hancocks has to offer. The unmissable tiara cabinet is a center point of the room as well as a place to see some of the extensive library of books on jewellery, makers and eras and some notable historical pieces made by Hancocks and are now part of their permanent Heritage collection.
Bruton Gallery
The Bruton Gallery on our first floor is the home to our carefully curated collection of vintage, antique, and signed pieces from the world’s best jewellery houses. From timeless heirlooms to rare finds, each jewel tells a story of history, heritage, craftsmanship and artistry, treasures that span well over a century of jewellery design.
Burlington Gallery
On the second floor is the Burlington Gallery, where you can find Hancocks London’s extensive and meticulously curated old cut diamond collection which is regarded as one of the most significant in the world. All the jewellery here is part of the Hancocks own collection, designed in house and handcrafted here in London. It is the ideal setting to enjoy these one-of-a-kind jewels in a luxurious and private setting and engage with Hancocks’ knowledgeable experts at your leisure.
