2023 has been a wonderful one, it seems to have gone past very quickly and very soon we will be walking into 2024 and then there will be a lot of change, we will be moving to our new premises on St. James’s Street and also celebrating our 175th year. As we happily look forward to sharing all of that with you, we now wish to extend our warmest wishes to you for a festive season filled with happiness, love… and beautiful jewels of course!

Jewel of the Month

A Vintage Bulgari Monete Necklace, circa 1980

The iconic Bulgari Monete jewels were launched mid 1960s, driven by Nicola Bulgari, a keen coin collector. There is serious demand for vintage Bulgari Monete necklaces from collectors around the world, and given they are not only remarkable pieces of jewellery, they are also jewelled historical artefacts we are delighted to present this necklace as December’s Jewel of The Month.

Inside Hancocks

With Guy Burton, our Managing Director…

“I have noticed that interest in men’s jewellery continues to grow significantly. Men are embracing jewellery, both vintage and contemporary and expanding beyond cufflinks and watches to every other area of jewellery. Vintage signed chains and bracelets are highly sought after, as are sophisticated brooches to adorn a lapel. Our gypsy-set ring collection is particularly popular and frequently chosen by men, each one is unique and the flush settings give the rings an understated luxury, are so easy to wear yet still showcasing some exceptional gemstones”
