The Hancocks Journal: March
Spring is on the way, and as the seasons are evolving so is Hancocks. This is our final Hancocks Journal written from within the walls of the Burlington Arcade and we are busy packing boxes and preparing to expand in to our new premises.
We are very excited to start a new chapter in our family business as we move to our new premises on St James’s Street and we look forward to being able to share it all with you very soon.
In the meantime, we hope you enjoy March’s Journal, which highlights a selection of our latest arrivals, a rare antique talisman of love and luck for our Jewel of the Month and an ‘Inside Hancocks’ update as we countdown to officially moving to St James’s Street.

Jewel of the Month
This month, the spotlight lands on this rare jewel that fuses both love and luck, encapsulated in the finest Victorian craftmanship.
This antique heart pendant has a dazzling 10cts of beautiful old cut diamonds and not only does it symbolise love, but the original owner also wanted to wish the wearer good fortune in their life as, when the pendant is opened, it reveals a glazed locket compartment housing a rare four-leaf clover. a timeless emblem of good luck, perfectly preserved for well over a century. Inside Hancocks
The countdown to St. James’s Street…
As you can see from the photo below, our new home is gradually emerging from the scaffolding and final touches are well under way. The new gallery will be much larger than our current premises and we are excited that we will have three floors of gallery space dedicated to our jewels. We hope that 62 St. James’s Street will embody our values and will be honouring our wonderful history as well as embracing this new chapter. I can officially say the paint is drying, our boxes are stacked up and ready to go and very soon the flag will be flying… watch this space!
