Vintage King of Hearts Cufflinks In 18ct Yellow Gold

A pair of vintage King of Hearts cufflinks by Cartier, circa 1960s. Made by the Georges Lenfant workshop, each cufflink is designed as a traditional playing card, displaying a richly textured King of Hearts motif in gold relief, the hearts bezel set with cabochon rubies and framed by ropetwist borders. The plates are connected by a solid gold bar, the smaller reverse plate is engraved with a heart and hinged for wear.
