Director’s Notes
Insects were hugely popular motifs in Victorian jewellery and meaning was attached to them all with the dragonfly representing metamorphism and change. This is a lovely example, from the lively old cut diamonds to the carefully crafted detail on the antennae and legs, it is a lovely example of Victorian craftmanship.
