Director’s Notes

Giuliano jewels have been loved by Royalty, Pre-Raphaelite artists, museums, connoisseurs and collectors alike. Distinctive and of unparalleled craftmanship his jewels have remained consistently collectible. When this necklace was made Giuliano had opened his own retail premises in London, at 115 Piccadilly. The shop was a treasure trove of wonderful jewels showcasing the exceptional craftsmanship for which Giuliano pieces were renowned. His jewels combined contemporary wearability of the period with the Renaissance aesthetic that he found so inspiring. This necklace is instantly recognisable as Giuliano and is very similar to a necklace from the Philip Riley collection and the Judith H Siegel collection.
