Director’s Notes
The Disorient collection is characterised by strong architectural lines that cleverly play with ideas of volume, geometry and negative space to create bold sculptural jewels that are substantial but also light, open and feminine. The complex asymmetry of each jewel belies the hours of work taken to ensure that every line and angle was perfectly balanced in order to create a bold, dynamic effect.
A beautiful pair of yellow gold Disorient earrings by Amy Burton, the elongated open hoop earrings finely hand crafted in 18ct yellow gold and of sculptural asymmetric openwork design, the three dimensional overlapping angular gold form with tapering ends partly set with round brilliant cut diamonds, with post and scroll fittings.
