Director’s Notes

'Enchaining' is a tehnique created by Mario Buccellati in the 1920s. It describes the method of chaining each componant of the jewel on the reverse using small links which creates an exceptiolaly fluid and highly flexible jewel. This vintage example of this technique is a masterclass in craftmanship and demonstrates not only this Buccellati technique but also the fine piercing work and engraved texture that are signatures of Maison Buccellati.
