Vintage Gold Necklace from the 'Minoan and Mycenaean' Collection

An 18ct yellow gold bead necklace by Lalaounis, circa 1960. The necklace is from the 'Minoan and Mycenaean' collection, designed as a row of alternating fluted or textured barrel shape beads with ribbed bouton shape beads all in 18ct yellow gold with a satin finish, to a central drop of similar beads terminating in a larger spherical bead with a finely hammered texture. The necklace is secured with a concealed tongue and box clasp.
