Director’s Notes

This is a quintessential 1970s jewel from this Swiss company which was founded in 1835 in Geneva. They made torques, cuffs and rings with favoured motifs including leopard, tiger and stallion heads like this one. As well as precious metals, which were used both with and without diamonds and gemstones, their jewels often featured organic materials such as the ebony wood this bangle is made from.
