A Vintage 18ct Yellow Gold Gentleman’s Dress Set

An 18ct gold gentleman’s dress set by Cartier c.1920. The complete set is composed of a pair of matching cufflinks, four buttons and three shirt studs. Each designed with circular heads fully engraved with concentric circles, the cufflinks double ended and with a chain link, the buttons with hair-pin fittings and the studs with double hinged fittings, all in the original red leather Cartier box.

Director’s Notes

During the Art Deco period Cartier produced some exceptional accessories alongside their jewellery and dress sets such as this were hugely popular. This is a great set and remains highly wearable even after 100 years.
